Rolly Long
From a young age, Rolly has followed in his father’s footsteps and pursued a varied and fulfilling career at sea.
Driven by a passion for all things maritime, Rolly can master virtually every vessel safely and efficiently - tug and barge units, survey vessels, split hopper self-propelled ships, high-speed jets and tug boats (all configurations). Notably, he was one of the first masters to commandeer a Rotor tug in the Southern Hemisphere.
Rolly has held the revered position of Port Captain in Port Hedland and is now managing a partnership which operates a tug for Svitzer Terminals at Chevron’s Wheatstone LNG Project.
